Helloooo! I'm back from stress city, mostly! A lot of things have happened since my last post. Here's what's up since then!

First things first: I got my license! I know I'm doing this way late, but finding out I have a depth perception problem a few years ago seriously set my progress back. Now that I'm finally allowed to drive by myself, though, I've been trying to do that as much as possible. It turns out I kind of don't hate driving as long as I'm by myself, because I get distracted and confused by other people's directions way too easily. Weird, huh?

So that derby game I mentioned? We won! The other team played SO well, though. It was really nice to meet all of them. I actually have a little scrimmage with some of them coming up next weekend, which will also be good driving practice because it's, like, two hours-ish away from here. So two-for-one good stuff, I guess!

Anime North happened. It was fine. We only went on Sunday and it was ABSURDLY busy for a Sunday, but I at least got some cute Skullgirls keychains. Unfortunately, I did not meet another Travis :(

So...Street Fighter 6 is my personal game of the year. If you're going to play any Street Fighter, make it this one. I wasn't really sure who I'd be playing before it came out (seeing as I missed the closed beta and all,) but now that I've had a couple weeks with it, Jamie is my man. Which is kind of weird, actually, because I didn't really like him pre-release? But he feels great to play, and I do have a soft place in my heart for men who are disgusting.
On that note, I'm really hoping for Birdie again. I feel like the most likely characters we're going to get are Bison's gang (maybe minus F.A.N.G considering nobody liked him?), Sagat, and Karin. And probably Dan at some point. But the ones I really want are Birdie, Poison, Cody, Mika, and Abigail (Canadian king that he is.) I guess we'll see!

I got my hair done on Wednesday! This one doesn't really matter, because I'm not posting a picture, but it's like kind of a choppy Amanda Bynes-type thing, and it's blonde(r) now. So, like, picture that.

Anyway, so, that's most of it! I have a few more derby games coming up and a new painting in the works. I've also been working with a new set of character designs, but none of my sketches are really in complete enough shape to post. Right now, though, I have to go and heat up some leftover pasta and put that in my body because I just realized how hungry I am. Thanks for reading, bye!
