street fighter
Street Fighter is a fighting game series published by Capcom. The first game was an arcade title published in 1987. In 1989, a sister game called Final Fight was released, and the Final Fight team would then go on to develop Street Fighter II, which came out in 1991. These three games would be the beginning of one of the most well-known fighting game franchises of all time.
N story
Street Fighter is kind of about two things: a bunch of people who all want to be the strongest guy in the world, and the shadow illuminati going for world domination via shenanigans like cloning people and genetically engineering God. Actually, that's a lie. We got Shadaloo and the Illuminati, which is to say two separate criminal organizations that exist for basically the exact same purpose. I would like to say that there is an easy-to-follow timeline that neatly involves all of these factors, but there isn't. In my opinion, that's kind of the best thing about it, actually. Some of the fighters are there specifically to hunt down the deep state psychic terrorists. Others just want everyone in the world to know how cool sumo is. Sometimes those streams get crossed and we get sumo wrestlers hunting down the deep state psychic terrorists. Don't worry about it.
N main characters
There are a lot of characters in this series, and a lot of them are important to the "plot". As much as I would love to write out a little bio for everyone, that would mean I would have to write 200 variations of "he is a blond American man who likes justice". I would also have to explain to you who Nash is, and nobody wants that. Here are a small handful of the most relevant ones, just to keep you in the loop.Click images to learn more. N my characters
In Street Fighter 6, my favourite characters are Jamie, Dhalsim, and Rashid. You can consider me a Jamie main.I thought I didn't really have a particular archetype that I lean towards, but, hmm...after seeing all three of their headshots together, I think my thing is dudes with a lot of gold in their promotional art. Perhaps this will also influence my future favourites, as well.

And finally, here's a picture of my favourite stage - I hope it comes back, too! This stage is called Kapukon Yu, or Honda's Sento, or Honda's Bath House. It was in Street Fighter II and Street Fighter V, and has been seen from the outside lots of other times in the series.
Thanks for playing!
