ONE-TWENTY-INCH PYTHON!!!

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I checked in and wrote a blog entry here. I was recently considering starting this site from scratch, but then I logged in and remembered how much of a banger my layout is. Anyway, good to be back!

I've been decently busy with work, but even more busy with the beginning stages of planning our wedding. We aren't starting "real" planning until my partner is done trade school, but I've gotten a bit of a head start anyway. We have colours and a list of things we don't want to do (no religious element and no fondant being the big ones.) I've also been moved up from the rookie team to the home team. Look at all this power I've been given! I might use it for evil, but I'm undecided.

Recently, I've gotten back into Skullgirls, and I've dragged my buddies into it, too. Having tried the three available DLC characters (Marie is still in early access as I write this,) I can definitively say: Umbrella is a monster and I love her. Actually, I really like all three of them! My team right now is Beowulf - Umbrella - Cerebella. Oops, All Grapplers, and what have you. This is definitely going to be the theme of my next shrine. I also want to make a Darkstalkers shrine, but for personal reasons that might turn into a Rikuo shrine. Sorry in advance if you have something against hot fish men.

Artwise, I've actually replaced my iPad, which means I'm going to have to redo my art pages again. Blehhh. I mean, I didn't like how they were before, but it's a lot of work. I do have another sketchbook that I'm almost done, though. It doesn't have a name yet, but it's a huge step up from aorta+. I've got a much better grasp on how I want to approach sketchbooking, and I'm doing it a lot more regularly. (Yes, even though it's been almost a year since I posted the last one. Trust me, I've done a lot of drawing since then!)

As a quick preview, here's two sketches from this month, or like the last 30 days or so anyway. What am I, a time wizard? I don't know how long a month is.
